This week on the most Canadian of all Canadian comic podcasts, we welcome Canadian comic artist Michael Walsh to the Monster Cave. Michael is best know for his art contribution on the Shuster nominated webcomic, Murderbook, and on the comic book The Brothers James with writer Ryan Ferrier from 215 ink. he joins us tonight to chat about all this as well as his new comic coming from Image/Shadowline: Comeback.   1. As a Daredevil fan, We've been waiting on End of Days for a few years, long before Waid took over the book. And Waid was approached for reintegrating Daredevil into the main Marvel U and, as far as I remember in interviews with him, wasn't terribly thrilled at first until thinking on it for a while. Granted, I pulling this from the memory-banks, but I'm pretty sure That's how it all went down. Both independent of each other. Both totally radical.

  2. Agreed. Monster Mike is known to give Bendis a hard time. He's also known for going for the comedy over reporting the facts. For the record, the majority of Marvel books Monster Mike has bought over the last 7 years have been more than likely Bendis written, so anything he says about the writer should be taken as tongue in cheek and with a wink and a nod.
